Randy Hootman displays the expanded
PROTOBase. It is controlled by the Javelin
(Java) Stamp. Note the holes at each end to
mount mechanical sensors and actuators.
Dave Wyland's Zagros based
reasonable machine sits with Flexo.
Rusty drifts with the satellites at
the SIG. The weather was nice
so we just met on the patio.
This is Bob and Ted's new balancer. A
relative of Bender for sure. It has a stand
and can lay itself down and pick itself
back up. Very creepy... but in a good
way.
David Wyland has been drinking
the Kool-Aid. Here's his latest
creation. A Mini-ITX controlled
rover with gripper. He wants to
teach it to fetch "soda".
Note the LinxMotion arm and video
camera near his hand.
Bob Allen with OLogic shows
Flexo and goes over their
circuit board "stacks".
Did I mention the
PROTOBot made the cover
of SERVO magazine?
